How do I start a new acrylic paint marker?
With the cap on, shake the marker well, then press the tip down a few times on scrap paper until the paint flows evenly. Test the line on a practice tip before the client's nail, recap the marker after every use and store it lying flat.
Can I use an acrylic paint marker on gel polish?
Yes. Draw on gel that is fully cured, with any sticky layer wiped off so the paint does not bead, and let the paint dry before sealing. A gel top coat protects the design; apply it gently so the brush does not drag the paint.
