How to choose salon gloves
- Latex allergy: choose nitrile or vinyl for staff and clients who react to latex.
- Fit: sizes run XS to XL; a snug glove keeps dexterity for detail work.
- Chemicals: a disposable glove is not a chemical barrier; change it when acetone or monomer soaks through, and between every client.

Salon gloves FAQ
Nitrile, latex or vinyl: which glove is best for a nail salon?
Nitrile is the usual choice: it is latex-free, resists tearing and fits closely. Latex fits and feels best but is not for people with a latex allergy. Vinyl is the lowest cost and looser, fine for short tasks.
How many gloves are in a box and a case?
TouchFlex gloves come 100 to a box and 10 boxes to a case. Other brands are listed per box or per case on each product page.
Do disposable gloves protect against acetone?
Not for long. TouchFlex states its gloves are not a chemical barrier, so change gloves as soon as acetone, monomer or disinfectant soaks through.
