- Stay with one liquid system. Each dip brand sets its powder with its own base, activator and finish; NuGenesis uses four numbered liquids, from Prep #1 to Super Shine Finish Gel #4.
- Pink and white: pair a NuGenesis Pink I, II or III with French White, and keep Crystal Clear on hand.
- 2-in-1 powders such as Notpolish Dipping-Acrylic work as dip with dip liquids or as acrylic with monomer.
- Jar size: 2 oz jars for colour; 4 oz to 22 oz refills for the clear, pinks and naturals you use every day.

Dipping powder FAQ
What liquids do I need for a dip powder manicure?
A dip system uses its own liquids: a base that holds the powder, an activator that hardens it and a finish or top coat. NuGenesis numbers them Prep #1, Base Gel #2, Activator #3 and Super Shine Finish Gel #4, and the set air-dries without a lamp. Use the liquids from your powder brand.
Can I use the same jar of powder for dip and acrylic?
Only if the powder is sold for both. Notpolish Dipping-Acrylic powders work as dip with dip liquids, or as acrylic with monomer and an acrylic brush. Use a dip-only powder, such as NuGenesis, with its own dip liquids as the label directs.
How do I keep dip powder clean between clients?
Many salons sprinkle powder over the nail, or pour a little into a separate container for each client, instead of dipping every client into the main jar. Throw away the used powder rather than pouring it back, and close jars between services so dust stays out.
