Lash essentials are the prep, finishing and removal products used around an eyelash extension set, apart from the lashes and the glue. M1 Nail & Beauty Supply stocks lash cleansers, a lash primer, isolation pads, a super bonder, a protective sealant and glue removers from Gollee and Hami.

      Types of lash essentials

      Type Best for Examples
Cleanse and prep Clean, oil-free natural lashes before the set, with the lower lashes kept out of the way. Gollee Eye Cleaning Solution, Hami Eyelash Foam Cleanser 2 oz, Hami Lash Primer 15 ml, Eyelash isolation pads, 40 pcs
Finish and aftercare Curing the glue at the end of the set, and a sealant the client brushes on at home. Gollee Super Bonder 15 ml, Gollee Lash Protective Sealant 10 ml
Glue remover Taking extensions off at the end of their wear or for a refit. Gollee Cream Glue Remover, Hami Lash Glue Remover Gel 15 ml

      How to choose lash essentials

      • Cleanse first. Adhesive works best on clean, oil-free lashes; the Gollee Eye Cleaning Solution has a press-down pump that soaks a cotton pad.
      • Bonder for the artist, sealant for the client. Super Bonder is applied once at the end of the appointment; the Protective Sealant is brushed on by the client to shield the bond from sweat, oil and water.
      • Cream or gel remover. Pick the texture you like to work with: Gollee's is a thick cream that stays where you place it, Hami's is a gel.

      Lash essentials FAQ

What does a lash primer do before extensions?

A primer goes on the natural lashes after cleansing and just before the glue, to take off the last traces of oil and residue so the glue can bond. Follow the directions on the Hami Lash Primer and let the lashes dry before you place the first extension.

Is a lash super bonder the same as lash glue?

No. Gollee Super Bonder is a clear liquid applied to the bonding points after the set is finished; it cures the glue that is already there and cannot attach a lash. Use it once at the end of the appointment.

How do I take off eyelash extensions with a glue remover?

Place isolation pads under the eyes, apply the cream or gel remover along the glue bonds, wait the time on the label, then slide the extensions off with a clean microbrush or tweezers. Never pull them off, and cleanse the lashes afterwards to remove any remover left behind.
