A nail technician stool is a rolling seat for the technician at the manicure table or the pedicure chair; a customer chair seats the client across the table. M1 Nail & Beauty Supply stocks technician stools, low pedicure stools, customer chairs, massage chairs and replacement gas lift cylinders from Champion and MNBS, several in black, grey or brown.

How to choose a salon stool or chair
- Manicure or pedicure. A pedicure stool sits lower so you reach the basin without bending; a technician stool suits the height of a manicure table.
- Sit at your own table. Compare the seat height in the product photos with your table and pedicure chair before you order, or try the stools in our Markham store.
- Match colours across the salon: several models come in black, grey, beige or brown, so stools and customer chairs can match.
- Fix before you replace. A stool that sinks usually needs a new gas lift cylinder, not a new stool.

Salon chair and stool FAQ
What is the difference between a pedicure stool and a technician stool?
A pedicure stool has a lower seat, so the technician sits at the level of the client's feet in the basin. A technician stool is taller and is made for working across a manicure table. Using the right one saves your back over a full day.
Why does my salon stool keep sinking, and can I fix it?
A stool that slowly drops usually has a worn gas lift cylinder. You can replace the cylinder instead of the stool: measure the old one and order the matching length, short, medium or long. Check the casters and fittings at the same time and tighten anything loose.
What should I look for in a customer chair for the manicure table?
A stable chair with a supportive back, at a height where the client can rest both forearms on the table without leaning forward. Upholstered models such as the Champion BJ 325 and BJ 7818 also work in a waiting area. A darker colour hides wear between cleanings.
