How to choose soft wax
- Honey or cream. Honey wax is the all-purpose choice; cream wax is thicker and creamier.
- Check your warmer. Make sure the can size fits it before you order a case.
- Have remover ready. Leftover soft wax needs an after-wax oil; water will not lift it.

Soft wax FAQ
How do you apply and remove soft wax?
Sharonelle's can directions: spread a thin layer with a spatula in the direction of hair growth, lay a strip over it and rub firmly the same way, then hold the skin taut and pull the strip off quickly against the growth. Finish with an after-wax lotion.
Can I heat soft wax in the microwave?
Only wax made for it, such as the Sharonelle Honey Microwavable Wax 16 oz jar. Heat it in short bursts, stirring in between, and test the temperature before each use: microwaved wax can be hotter in the middle than at the edge. Cans go in a warmer.
Should I buy 14 oz or 18 oz cans of soft wax?
It is the same wax in a different size; pick the can that fits your warmer (GiGi warmers are made for 14 oz cans). Salons that wax daily can buy a case of 24 Sharonelle or 12 Satin Smooth cans.
