- Match the model first. Parts are listed by machine (Medicool 35K or 20K; Kupa cords for KP-55, KP-55A or KP-60/65; UP200), so check your machine's label.
- Use the numbered drawing. Each Medicool parts listing shows a numbered parts drawing, and the variant names follow those numbers.
- Copy the code from the old tube. UV sterilizer tubes are sold by wattage and base code; the 6 W G6 T5 tube is shorter than the 8 W G8 T5.

How do I find the right part for my Medicool e-file?
Start with the model, because 35K and 20K parts are different. Open the parts listing for your machine, find the part on the numbered drawing in the photos and choose the variant with the same number and name. If you are not sure, bring the handpiece to our Markham store.
Which UV tube fits my sterilizer cabinet?
Read the code printed on the old tube. The Philips 8 W G8 T5 tube is about 302 mm long with its pins and the 6 W G6 T5 is about 216 mm, so they are not interchangeable. Unplug the cabinet before changing the tube and never look at a lit UV tube.
Can I get my Medicool e-file repaired at M1?
