6 W or 8 W?
They are not interchangeable: the 6 W tube is 216 mm long and the 8 W tube is 302 mm with its pins. Read the wattage printed on the old lamp, or measure it, before ordering.
Questions customers ask
How often should the lamp be changed? Change it when it no longer lights, flickers, or the ends turn black. UV output drops with age even while the lamp still glows blue, so follow the schedule in your cabinet manual.
Is a UV cabinet enough to disinfect tools? No. Clean and disinfect tools the way your local health rules require; a UV cabinet is for storing tools that are already clean.
