Reading Mr Nail codes: W is used for tools and equipment (drills, lamps, forms, brushes, magnets). L is used for 14g bottled functional gels (for example L001 base, L009 matte top) and K for 30g jar gels (for example K203 builder gel). D, F, V and J codes are individual shades. Which Mr Nail builder gel should I use?
K203 Builder Gel (30g jar) is the everyday builder. L014 Thin Builder Gel self-levels into a quick C-curve (cure 30–60 s). L031 and K213 No Feeling Builder Gel feel less heat under the lamp (L031 90–120 s, K213 90–120 s). For extensions, use Extension Gel 40g or K208 with W555–W559 dual forms.
What is the difference between Mr Nail L and K gels?
L codes are 14g brush-on bottles (for example L001 Adhesive Base Gel, L009 Matte Top Coat). K codes are 30g jars (for example K203 Builder Gel, K206 Crystal Top Gel). Some gels come in both, such as No Feeling Builder Gel L031 (14g) and K213 (30g).
Does the W215 Pro Max lamp work without the battery?
Yes. The W215 Pro Max plug-in version runs corded: 39 LEDs, 365/395/660 nm. Add the W217 5000mAh battery (about 3.5 hours cordless), the W216 charging station or the W218 remote later, or buy the full set.
