How to read a TM tray label
A label such as C 0.15 12mm gives three things. C is the curl: J is the flattest, B is a soft natural curl and C is the everyday medium curl. 0.15 is the thickness of one lash in millimetres: 0.15 and 0.20 are classic thicknesses worn one extension per natural lash, while 0.05 and 0.07 are fine lashes that are fanned into volume. 12mm is the length. A label that says MIX holds several lengths in one tray; the mixed TM trays in our photos have 12 rows from 8 to 12 mm.
Questions lash artists ask
What does TM stand for? The trays are printed "Tian Mei", and TM is the short form we use in product names.
What is a 三叶草 (clover) lash? A premade fan: three fine tips joined on one base. It is picked up and placed like a single lash, so there is no hand fanning.
Mixed tray or single length? A mixed tray covers a whole set with one purchase. Single-length trays are for restocking the lengths you use most.
What else do I need? Lash glue, plus tweezers, pads and primer from lash essentials. All lash products are in eyelashes.
Not sure which tray you need? Read the guide: Lash extension trays explained: curl, thickness, length and premade fans.
