A nail dryer machine blows air over freshly painted nails so regular nail polish dries faster; it does not cure gel. M1 Nail & Beauty Supply stocks a table-top dryer and a four-seat drying station from Champion.
How to choose a nail dryer machine
- One client at the table. The Champion Hand Dryer is a white table-top fan dryer (28 x 28 x 19.5 cm): the client rests a hand or foot under the hood while the fan dries the polish.
- Several clients at once. The 4 Person Nail Drying Station is a free-standing table (52 x 39 x 100 cm) where four clients dry regular polish at the same time, which frees up manicure tables in busy hours.

Nail dryer machine FAQ
Can a nail dryer machine dry gel polish?
No. A fan dryer only speeds up the drying of regular nail polish. Gel polish has to be cured under a UV/LED nail lamp, following the cure time printed on the gel bottle, so a salon doing both services needs a lamp as well as a dryer.
Is regular polish fully dry after the nail dryer?
Usually not all the way through. The surface can feel dry while the layers underneath are still soft, so remind clients to be careful with their nails for a while after they leave. Thin coats and a quick-dry top coat help polish set faster.
