Codi Lotion Sizes Compared: 100 ml vs 750 ml vs 1 Gallon

Codi Hand & Body Lotion comes in three sizes: a 100 ml (3.3 fl oz) tube, a 750 ml (25 fl oz) pump bottle and a 1 gallon (128 fl oz / 3.78 L) jug. The tube is the retail and gift size, the pump bottle is the one that sits at the manicure table and pedicure chair, and the gallon is the refill. The tube and the pump bottle come in all 10 scents. The gallon comes in 4: Green Tea, Jasmine, Lavender and Olive. Codi lists the same ingredients for every size, so the choice is about how you use it, not what is inside.

How much lotion is in each pack

To estimate how long a pack lasts, divide its volume by what you use per client. As an example only: at 10 ml per service, a 750 ml bottle covers 75 services and a gallon about 378. Measure your own usage, since the amount varies with the service and the technician.

Which scents come in which size

All 10 scents come in the tube and the pump bottle. Only 4 come in the gallon, so a salon that refills from gallons will be working with Green Tea, Jasmine, Lavender or Olive at the station and can offer the other six in bottles or tubes. Lemon, Pearl and Peppermint exist only in the Codi 4 in 1 Pedicure Kit.

Which size to buy

• One or two stations, or trying a scent: single 750 ml pump bottles. You can run a different scent at each station.
• A pump bottle at every station: the case of 12, one scent per case.
• Refilling the bottles you already have: the gallon or the case of 3, if your scent is one of the four.
• Retail and gifts:100 ml tubes, or the case of 48 for a shelf display or holiday giveaways.

Refilling pump bottles from a gallon

The gallon jug has a screw cap and no pump, so it is poured, not dispensed. These are our own shop-floor suggestions, not instructions from Codi.

1. Use up the pump bottle first, then wash it and the pump and let them dry completely.
2. Refill with the same scent that is printed on the bottle, or relabel it.
3. Close the gallon tightly after pouring and store it upright, away from heat and direct sun.

What is in Codi lotion

Codi describes the lotion as an intensive nourishing lotion for feet, hands and body with no greasy feel. The published ingredient list is the same in every size and scent except for one line, the plant extract that matches the scent: Water, Mineral Oil, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Paraffin, PEG-40 Stearate, [scent extract], Sorbitan Stearate, Urea, Fragrance, Arginine, Carbomer, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Palmitic Acid, Chlorphenesin, Stearic Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Disodium EDTA. The label reads "Made in Korea".

Bottled lotion and the 4 in 1 Pedicure Kit

The Codi 4 in 1 Pedicure Kit is a different product: a single-use box with four 25 g packets (Salt Soak, Sugar Scrub, Cream Masque, Massage Lotion), one kit per client. The kit already includes its own Massage Lotion packet for the last step, so the bottled lotion is for manicures, for services done without a kit, and for retail. Nine scents exist in both the kit and the bottled lotion, which lets you match the pedicure to the lotion on the shelf.
