How the four liquids work together
The numbers on the bottles are the order of use. #1 Prep takes oil off the nail. #2 Gel Base is brushed on and the nail is dipped into powder, usually two or three times. #3 Activator hardens the layers so the nail can be filed. #4 Finish Gel is the glossy top coat, and it air dries. Questions salons ask
Does ANC need a UV or LED lamp? No. The activator hardens the powder layers and the finish air dries.
How is ANC removed? ANC says to buff off the shine, hold acetone-soaked cotton on the nail and wrap it in foil; the product soaks off in 10 to 15 minutes.
Why did my #2 or #4 liquid go thick? ANC notes that these two thicken when powder or #3 Activator gets into the bottle. Wipe the brush before putting it back.
Is there a #1 Prep refill? We stock #1 Prep in the 0.5 oz bottle; the 2 oz refills are for #2, #3 and #4.
