DND vs DC vs DIVA: what's the difference?
According to DND, the three lines differ mainly in packaging and bottle size. All three come as a duo or as gel polish only.

A duo is one gel polish, cured under a UV/LED lamp, plus the matching air-dry lacquer in a clear bottle, so gel and regular polish are the same colour. Prices are M1's regular prices as of October 2026.

DND says DND and DC base and top gels can be used interchangeably, and that both keep a gel manicure for up to 21 days when applied properly.
DND gel polish FAQ
How long do you cure DND gel polish?
DND's instructions are 1 to 2 coats of base gel cured for 30 to 45 seconds under a UV/LED lamp, then 2 to 3 thin colour coats cured for 30 to 60 seconds each, then top coat cured for 30 to 45 seconds. Very opaque shades such as black and white can need a longer cure.
Which bottle in a DND duo is the gel?
The coated bottle is the gel: white for DND, gold for DC. Gel must be kept away from UV light, so it is never in a clear bottle. The clear bottle is the air-dry lacquer.
Is DND vegan and cruelty-free?
DND states that its products contain no animal-derived ingredients and that it is Leaping Bunny certified, with no animal testing at any stage of product development.
How do I remove DND gel polish?
File the top layer with a coarse file, wrap each nail in an acetone-soaked cotton ball and foil for 10 to 15 minutes, then gently push off the loosened gel. Soak longer if the gel is still intact.
