Mellow is a professional paraffin wax for salon hand and foot treatments, sold in sealed 1 lb bags in two scents: Lavender and Peach. M1 Nail & Beauty Supply stocks it by the single bag, by the 6 lb box and by the 36 lb case. The packaging describes the wax as "Super Moisturizing" with "extra oil and fragrance": it holds heat well and softens rough, dry skin on hands, feet, elbows and heels.

How do you use Mellow paraffin wax?
Cut the bag open and slide the block into a paraffin bath; do not heat the wax inside the bag. Once it has melted, coat clean hands or feet in several thin layers, wrap them in a paraffin bag and a mitt for 10 to 15 minutes, then peel the wax off and discard it.
How hot should the wax be?
The Mellow bag says not to use or touch paraffin wax hotter than 115°F (46°C), and to use a paraffin machine that shows the temperature digitally. Always test the wax on your own wrist before treating a client.
Lavender or Peach?
Both have the same paraffin base and the same 1 lb bag; the difference is scent and colour. Lavender is purple, Peach is orange-peach. Do not mix the two in one bath unless you want a blended scent.
