Mini Nova questions

Is the Aprés Mini Nova cordless?

No. The Mini Nova is a corded lamp with no rechargeable battery, so it has to stay plugged into its included AC adapter while it runs. Aprés describes this as steady 36 W output with no pauses to recharge. The cordless model in the range is the full-size Aprés Nova.

How many watts is the Aprés Mini Nova?

Aprés rates the Mini Nova at 36 W. It uses 45 dual-wavelength LEDs that emit at 365 nm and 405 nm.

What does Low Heat mode do on the Mini Nova?

Low Heat mode reduces the lamp's power output by 65% to help minimize heat spikes. Press LOW HEAT and then a timer, and the display shows L30, L60 or L90. Aprés notes that it is a comfort setting, so still follow the cure time given for the gel you are using.

What is the difference between the Mini Nova and the Nova?

The Mini Nova is the smaller, corded lamp with one curing light and a Low Heat mode. The full-size Nova is cordless and rechargeable, adds Pink and Red light modes, and has fold-out legs for pedicures.

Does the Mini Nova work on Canadian power?

Yes. The included adapter accepts 100–240 V at 50/60 Hz, which covers the 120 V, 60 Hz outlets used in Canada.

Does the Mini Nova have a warranty?

Aprés lists a one-year limited warranty for the Mini Nova and requires the lamp to be registered at apresnail.com/warranty-registration to activate it.
